שחקני סאות'המפטון וניוקאסל הופרדו במנהרה

הליגה האנגלית נפתחה היום (שבת) וכבר עכשיו האמוציות גבוהות במיוחד. פביאן שאר מניוקאסל הורחק אחרי 28 דקות לאחר שנגח בפניו של בן ברטון דיאס מסאות'המפטון, במה שהיה רק ההתחלה לפני אירועי המחצית בין הקבוצות משתי הערים השכנות.

ז'אן בדנרק מסאות'המפטון ודן ברן מניוקאסל דחפו אחד את השני במחצית עם הירידה של שתי הקבוצות, ונאלצו להפריד ביניהם. ברטון דיאס הצטרף גם כן לעימות, כאשר ייתכן כי הפרמייר ליג תעניש את המעורבים בהמשך.

"שיטהאוסרי" כתב אלן שירר בחשבון הטוויטר שלו. "יציאה מטופשת של פביאן שאר". האוהדים הגיבו בהתלהבות גם כן במשחק החזרה של סאות'המפטון לפרמייר ליג אחרי שנת העדרות.
