לאחר ששוחרר משורותיה של ממפיס וגם העונה הוא יצפה במשחקי הפלייאוף מהבית, עומרי כספי התעורר לבוקר שאחרי וגילה לא מעט תמיכה ברחבי הרשת. הנציג שלנו בליגה הטובה בעולם, שמתאושש מניתוח במיניסקוס, ישלים עונה עשירית ללא דקת פלייאוף ויחפש את היעד הבא שלו בארה"ב. בינתיים, אספנו בשבילכם את כל הציוצים.
הגריזליס עברו חלון טריידים עמוס במיוחד כאשר מלבד השחרור של כספי, הועברו כחלק מטריידים גארט טמפל, שלבין מאק, ווין סלדן ג'וניור, דילון ברוקס וכמובן מארק גאסול שעבר לראפטורס תמורת יונאס ולנצ'יונאס, דלון רייט וסי ג'יי מיילס, יחד עם בחירת סיבוב שני ב-2024. בעקבות כך הקבוצה נותרה עם 16 שחקני סגל וכספי היה זה ששילם את המחיר.
שחקן נוסף שעמד בלב הסערה הוא מייק קונלי, שהיה מבוקש במספר קבוצות עד לרגעים האחרונים של החלון: "לא ישנתי טוב בלילה, לא ידעתי מה הולך לקרות עד הבוקר. התכוננתי לשני מצבים, מה שיקרה יקרה, אבל בסוף אני נשאר. כרגע אני מסתכל על המשחק הבא ומנסה לא לתת ליום הרגשי הזה לפגוע בי, שמח שזה מאחורי".
