אגדת ה-NBA ופרשן "TNT" צ'ארלס בארקלי לא ריחם על בוסטון: "כל כך קשה לראות אותם משחקים את הכדורסל הרע שלהם. הם לא מניעים את הכדור ולא זזים, פשוט מתסכל לראות קבוצה כל שחקן מוכשרת משחקת כל כך מטומטם. כואב לי הראש לצפות בכדורסל המפגר הזה".
