שוב זה קורה. דוניאל מאלן הבקיע היום (שלישי) לשערו שלו, העניק 0:1 יקר לאוסטרים והבקיע את השער העצמי השביעי ביורו 2024, כשאנחנו עדיין בשלב הבתים.

ביורו הקודם, יורו 2020, היו 11 שערים עצמיים ו-6 בשלב הבתים. בכל הטורנירים הקודמים יחד היו תשעה שערים במצטבר. הסיבות לכך מגוונות, מחוסר התיאום של נבחרות ודרך ניסיונות "לשחק" מאחורה, בדומה לשער העצמי הביזארי של הטורקים.
