כריסטיאנו רונאלדו כבר בן 39, אבל הוא ממש לא שכח לשחק כדורגל. כוכב פורטוגל פגש שני שחקני סלובניה בסמוך לרחבת היריבה הערב (שני), ועם מהלך של יכולת אישית יוצאת דופן הצליח לשמור על הכדור.

הפורטוגלי הקפיץ חמש פעמים תוך שהוא ברוח מהשחקן היריב שמשך אותו, והצליח לבסוף למצוא חבר שימשיך את ההתקפה. "הקהל השתגע מהמהלך הזה", כתבו ב-a bola הפורטוגלי.

"זה היה מהלך מטורף של רונאלדו", נכתב ב'סקיי', "הוא שייט עם הכדור, להטט איתו ושמר עליו עבור פורטוגל. הקהל אהב את זה, עדיין יש לו את זה!". ב-BBC היללו גם כן: "אם להיות כנים, זה נראה כמו רונאלדו הצעיר".
