מעל כולם בלטו כמובן שני הכשרונות המובילים של הכדורסל הישראלי: דני אבדיה, שסיים עם דאבל דאבל של 21 נקודות ו-10 ריבאונדים, וים מדר, שסיים עם 12 נקודות ו-9 אסיסטים. לאחר הניצחון, הרשת לא נשארה אדישה להופעה של נבחרת ישראל.
